Falling in Love Again – With Food and Ourselves
I like to view cooking and eating as an opportunity to invite medicine and joy into our bodies. We must eat to survive anyway, so it just makes sense to me that we use this as a tool and, more so, a gift to ourselves.
Through discussions, demonstrations, self-directed learning, and hands-on cooking experience, you will have the opportunity to expand your culinary skills and self-awareness, with compassion, humour and sound nutritional knowledge. You will begin to notice your excitement about delicious healthy ingredients, and your relationship to food.
In these three cooking class series, that can be experienced in progression or on their own, we will explore the beauty and bounty of whole food as we find our way back to ourselves.
We will let go of imperfection,
and plant the seeds for self-love through the care-full preparation of meals.
Our ingredients will be seasonal, fresh and as local as possible. Different Culinary and Wellness themes will be explored each session. Our delicious meals will be gluten free, dairy free and vegetarian options will be offered. Included: a meal to share with the group, informative handouts, recipes and take-home practice ideas.
All classes take place in Gibsons, Sunshine Coast, BC
